Our process
GVB extracts cannabinoids from hemp using a proprietary cryogenic extraction process that
allows us to specifically target only the valuable components of the hemp plant, while
leaving behind the undesirable water-soluble elements.
After extraction, our ultrahigh-quality crude is sent through our custom designed and fabricated short-path distillation system. This method enhances potency and clarity in the course of producing a honey-colored, broad-spectrum distillate.
The distillate is then either sent through our proprietary THC removal processes to ensure compliance with federal regulations, or converted into 99%+ pure CBD isolate, which contains only CBD.
We utilize a similar method to process CBG isolate and distillate. This method differs mainly in the hemp used, which is naturally high in CBG.
QUALITY & COMPLIANCE
GVB carries all requisite local, state, and federal licensing, and operates facilities that are in full compliance with all applicable regulations.

GVB is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified, food grade, CGMP compliant, licensed hemp handler. GVB Oregon recently earned NSF International’s Good Manufacturing Practice Registration for dietary supplements. NSF International is a leading certification agency that verifies a manufacturing facility has the proper methods, equipment, facilities, and controls in place to produce dietary supplement products in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s regulations on dietary supplements.
GVB was one of the first hemp processors in Oregon to receive food-grade certification from the Oregon Department of Agriculture, which acts with the full authority of the USDA in Oregon. GVB strictly adheres to food-grade manufacturing practices, ensuring that all products are produced in a manner consistent with food products.
GVB has worked closely with state fire marshals to ensure full compliance with all applicable fire safety regulations, and we have passed multiple state fire marshal inspections. We also periodically commission a haz-mat team to inspect the building and ensure that it is free from flammable chemical vapors.
